How You Can Improve Any Relationship!

Although it is our closest relationships that affect our lives most, our if we are finding it hard to get on with a work colleague, neighbour or relative that can also affect us. It really doesn’t take much to improve your relationship with someone, just the knowledge and understanding and a little effort.

Why is the divorce rate so high?

It is falling now in the western world, but that’s because fewer people have been getting married, preferring to live together without the ceremony.

A major part of our work, the coaching and workshops, concerns helping people with relationships. Most close relationships fail, typically after eighteen months to three years. Marriages tend to last rather longer. Relationships like these fail through lack of knowledge and understanding, largely about communication, but several other aspects too. Too many of us have felt that if you fall in love with someone, the logical “conclusion” is to get married, and that nature will take its course. We fail to accept that very few people remain in the state of high emotion, lust and passion that we experience when we first fall for someone, and during the early months and years. Perhaps we think we marry the “wrong person”, or one of use grows faster or in a different direction, leaving the other stranded.

J IMPROVING YOUR RELATIONSHIPS DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE TO MAKE RADICAL CHANGES AND SACRIFICES, OR EXPECT YOUR PARTNER TO! J

Coaching and workshops are available for individuals and couples to help overcome these problems. If you are in a relationship, don’t wait for it to hit the rocks! It may even be too late to salvage anything by then. It may not be, of course, but whatever “stage” the relationship, the extra knowledge, understanding and focus will help and probably save it. Then you can work to rebuild it!
